The aspect is important phenomenon of interlinking the planets with each other apart from playing the role as a bridge between the signs.

The Drishti means glance or sight and it refers to the transfer of influences to another graha or rashi as a result of their situation in relation to each other.

There are two types of aspect as given below.

1- Aspect based on Planet or Sign’s Nature

2- Aspect based on Relative Distance

 

1- Aspect based on Planet or Sign’s Nature


This system of aspect studied in Vedic Astrology holds that certain planet or sign sights another planet or sign depending on its nature.

It is of two kinds.

·  Graha Drishti is preferred when analyzing the Nakshatra dasha and the sahams.

·  Rashi Drishti is preferred when analyzing the Rashi dasha and the vargas.


2-  Aspect based on Relative Distance

This system is similar to the Western Astrology and is used in the Tajik Varshphal or the Vedic Solar Return Chart to erect 14 different types of aspects which are also known as varshphala yogas.
