1.       Life Line

The Life Line usually circles the thumb beginning under the mount of Jupiter and extending to the wrist. It also encircles the Mount of Lower Mars and Venus and ends at the base of the hand. This line represents the person’s vitality, vigor, physical health and general well being.  It also reflects the major life events including cataclysmic changes, physical injuries, and relocations.

2.       Head Line

The Head Line is the horizontal line which cuts across the palm or curves downward. It starts at the edge of the palm under the index finger and flows across the palm towards the outside edge. It represents the intelligence and the mental health. It also indicates the learning style, the communication style, the intellectualism, and the thirst for knowledge.

3.       Heart Line

The Heart Line cuts laterally across the upper palm between the mounts of Jupiter and Mercury. It represents the matters of the heart both physical and metaphorical. The loops, the bubbles, the cuts and the breaks in this line indicate the relationships and the episodes occurring in a person's love life.

4.       Girdle of Venus

The Girdle of Venus line starts between the little and the ring fingers, runs in a rough arc under the ring and the middle fingers and ends between the middle and the pointer fingers. It represents the emotional intelligence, the beauty and the luck in romance.

5.       Sun Line

The Sun Line lies parallel to the Fate Line under the ring finger. It is also called as the Line of Apollo or the Line of Brilliancy. It represents the fame, the popularity, the talents or the scandal of the person.

6.       Mercury Line

The Mercury Line runs from the bottom of the palm near the wrist and extends up to the little finger, passing through the Plain of Mars. It is also referred to as the line of Health or the line of Liver. It represents the persistent health issues, the business acumen and the communication skill.

7.       Fate Line

The Fate Line is also called as the Line of Faith runs vertically from the middle of the base of the palm and up towards the middle finger. It represents the material wealth, success, career choices, obstacle and financial strength.

Other Minor Lines

Union Lines
 
The Union Lines are the short horizontal lines found on the percussive edge of the palm between the Heart Line and the bottom of the little finger. They represent intimate relationships.

Travel Lines

The Travel Lines are the horizontal lines found on the percussive edge of the palm between the wrist and the heart line.  Each line represents the trip taken by the person.

Markings
 
There are many other markings located on the palm. They include the stars, the crosses, the triangles, the squares, the tridents, and the rings under each of the fingers. Based on the location and the other interfering lines, the supposed impact and meaning of these lines can be interpreted.
