Mounts on the palm
The various mounts on the palm and their representations are as follows.
The Mount of Jupiter is located below the index finger, representing the ambition, the leadership, the religion, the honor and the love of nature.
The Mount of Saturn is located below the middle finger, representing the sanity, the sobriety, the wisdom, the introversion and the karmic events such as good or bad luck.
The Mount of Apollo is located below the ring representing the confidence, the creativity, the impulsiveness and the extroversion.
The Mount of Mercury is located below the little finger representing the communication, the quickness, the writing and the mathematical skills. If there are some short vertical lines featured with the Mount of Mercury, they represent the number of deep emotional connections or significant relationships in a person's life. They are called the Lines of Affection.
The Mount of Upper Mars is located right below the Mount of Mercury about half way down, representing the temperament of a person. If this mound is fleshy then the person tends to be more courageous or war-like.
The Mount of Luna is located near the base of the hand, representing the generosity, the warmth and the imagination. But if it is over pronounced, it indicates the tendency to madness.
The Mount of Lower Mars is located below the Mount of Jupiter, representing the aggression, the hostility and the capacity for evil.
The Plane of Mars is located in the centre of the palm. If the plane has a dip in it, the person is said to be calm, cool and collected. If it is raised or flat, the person is more likely to display a bad temper.
